About the Role
We're working on behalf of a major UK infrastructure business delivering long-term highways maintenance and improvement works across a key regional contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up, or a Graduate Quantity Surveyor with industry exposure, to join an established commercial team and gain hands‑on experience across live infrastructure projects. You'll be involved in the full commercial lifecycle, from early-stage project input through to final accounts, working closely with operational teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting commercial management of projects from pre-contract to completion
- Assisting with subcontractor management (tendering, awarding, valuations)
- Supporting monthly CVRs and forecasting
- Working towards agreement of final accounts
- Building relationships with internal teams and clients
- Ensuring processes are followed to minimise commercial risk
What We're Looking For
- Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying or similar (or working towards)
- Some industry exposure (placement, internship or 1-3 years experience)
- Interest in infrastructure, highways or civil engineering projects
- Strong numeracy and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
