We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a well‑established and growing food manufacturing business and client of ours. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven quality professional to play a key role in the development and growth of the Quality team while driving standards and continuous improvement across the site.

Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will take full responsibility for quality control across the factory floor, ensuring the site remains audit‑ready and fully compliant with both BRC and retailer standards at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all quality control activities across the factory floor
  • Ensure the factory remains audit‑ready and compliant with customer and retailer standards
  • Manage and maintain the internal auditing schedule
  • Implement, maintain, and improve BRC and retailer standards across the site
  • Lead external audits and customer visits on site
  • Ensure all products meet company quality standards and specifications
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
  • Coach, mentor, and develop the Quality team
  • Lead and manage the Quality department effectively
Requirements
  • Proven experience within a similar Quality Manager role
  • Strong experience working within food manufacturing
  • Experience with BRC standards is essential
  • Retailer experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of HACCP principles
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Passionate about quality, standards, and continuous improvement
