Are you a Quality Engineer looking for a role that gives genuine development? With the businesses Quality Manager working from the other of their two production facilities, they need to find a strong Quality professional to own and implement Quality management in their Lancashire site. This means that the role offers a Quality Engineer greater autonomy, responsibility and the chance to play a larger part in driving business outcomes. This is a fully rounded Quality Engineer position.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System
- Plan and carry out internal audits
- Support external and customer audits as required
- Lead and drive effective corrective action activities
- Act as an internal representative for customer quality requirements
- Review and analyse customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities
- Undertake detailed root cause analysis investigations
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities across processes, waste reduction, and product reliability
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 standards
- Previous experience in a Quality role within a manufacturing or technical environment
