Job Purpose: We are looking for a candidate who has UK CDM (2015) construction environment experience with Quality Assurance. Provide competent quality management advice to promote compliance to ISO 9001: 2015 in the review, audit, certification, induction and management of procedures and processes in electrical infrastructure construction projects.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Provide Quality Management advice about ISO 9001: 2015 to other advisors, managers, employees, contractors and clients, both in the tendering and construction phases.
- Aim to maintain Services' quality management system to ensure it can design, build, finance, operate and maintain primary electrical infrastructure for its clients.
- Contribute to the review of existing and the development of new procedures/processes.
- Monitor compliance with ISO 9001: 2015, procedures, legal and moral obligations, and national, international and client standards.
- Plan project audits against agreed level 2, 3 and 4 schedules.
- Undertake quality management system audits, produce audit reports and ensure findings are resolved promptly.
- Assist and offer guidance to Project Managers in reviewing quality related project documents and requirements.
- Develop appropriate quality management system inductions, training and communication materials for the project team and subcontractors.
- Gather lessons learnt and maintain the project cost of poor-quality process.
- Provide Project Managers with quality related updates for inclusion in monthly reports.
- Support any quality management system incident investigations.
- Provide a monitoring function to ensure that suppliers, subcontractors and the services they provide exceed our quality management system expectations.
- Monitor site certification of materials and equipment, including tool calibration, to ensure compliance with client and project requirements.
- Maintain associated project records to compile final data book documentation.
- Facilitate third-party audits of Services by external certification bodies.
- Champion quality management system processes in the business to ensure certification requirements are maintained.
