Location: HU3 Area, Hull

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm or 5:00am - 1:00pm (40 hours per week)

Contract: Temporary to Permanent (for the right candidate)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established food manufacturing company based in the HU3 area. This role is within a frozen food production environment; however, the factory is maintained at a comfortable working temperature thanks to specialist equipment, providing a clean and pleasant working environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Operative looking for a long-term position with the potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
  • Ensuring all products meet required food safety and quality standards
  • Completing and maintaining accurate QA documentation and paperwork
  • Product testing - hourly
  • Monitoring hygiene and compliance with company procedures
  • Reporting any issues or non-conformances to management

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role, ideally within food manufacturing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to complete paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Good understanding of food safety and quality standards
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team
