Coton Day Nursery is a small, warm, and homely setting located in the beautiful village of Coton, Cambridgeshire. Based on Whitwell Way within the grounds of Coton CoE Primary School, we provide a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We welcome candidates who are looking to progress into a Room Leader role, with opportunities for development subject to experience and discussion during the interview.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide stimulating, purposeful experiences, environments, and resources that support children's age and stage of development.
- Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery and promote these standards in daily practice.
- Support the smooth running of the nursery while ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of children, staff, and families.
- Maintain professional relationships at all times and report any complaints or concerns to management in line with company policies and procedures.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support the nursery team and operational needs.
Requirements
- Full and Relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification – essential.
- Fluent in written and spoken English – essential.
- Over 1 year's experience of working in Early Years – desirable.
- Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – desirable.
