  • Basic Salary: £42,387 to £45,000 (DOE) + £1500 Signing Bonus + Overtime
  • Working Hours: No Weekends - Monday-Friday - 07:00-16:00!
  • Location/Depot: Pyle

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to HGVs and trailers at customer sites or roadside locations.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform routine inspections, safety checks, and MOT preparation work.
  • Respond to breakdowns and provide efficient on-site repairs to minimise vehicle downtime.
  • Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
  • HGV licence is an advantage
  • Full UK Driving license is essential
  • MOT preparation experience
