As a Psychology Grad TA, you will support students in the classroom, particularly those who may need additional emotional, behavioural, or learning support. Key Responsibilities of Psychology Graduate TA:

  • Support students in lessons as a Teaching Assistant
  • Work with students on a one‑to‑one and small group basis
  • Assist students with additional needs, including SEMH and SEN
  • Help promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement
  • Support students' emotional wellbeing and confidence
  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and preparation
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements of Psychology Graduate TA:

  • A degree in Psychology
  • Interest in education, mental health, or child development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • An up‑to‑date CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained)
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply
