Overview

Location: Kidderminster

Pay: £21.00 per hour

Shift: 06:00 - 14:30, any 5 days over 6

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and inspections on the fleet
  • Diagnose faults and complete mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT and DVSA compliance
  • Rectify defects identified through driver checks
  • Support fleet availability through efficient turnaround of vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with health & safety standards

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence (Category B/B1 essential)
  • Category D or D1 licence desirable (enhanced rate applies)
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle / PSV / HGV Maintenance
  • Proven experience working on buses, coaches, or heavy vehicles
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Good understanding of DVSA regulations and MOT preparation
