We are working with an established fire safety contractor supporting their search for an experienced Project Manager to deliver passive fire protection works across residential local authority, housing association, and NHS projects.
They have an easily accessible central London office, and your time will be split between the office and site, with the option to discuss some hybrid working. This is a technically focused fire safety role with strong emphasis on on-site compliance, quality, and commercial control, managing a small team of supervisors across live projects.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-end delivery of multiple passive fire protection projects
- Line management of site supervisors
- Ensure all works are fully compliant, certifiable, and delivered to a high standard
- Strong on-site presence providing technical support and oversight
- Commercial management including valuations and revenue forecasting, cost control and budget ownership, managing labour, subcontractors, suppliers, and prelims, protecting gross profit, signing off expenditure and payment applications, identifying, agreeing, and managing variations with clients, overseeing project handover and certification, delivering excellent client communication and relationship management, ensuring adherence to internal processes and statutory requirements, implementing and enforcing health & safety standards across sites
- Significant relevant experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of passive fire protection, including fire doors
- A carpentry trade background recognised as a strong pathway, progressing into project management
- BM TRADA qualification desirable
- Excellent organisational, commercial, and communication skills
