Manpower Scotland are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established food production client for a Site Services Cleaner to join their busy site on a temporary ongoing booking. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking to work within a fast-paced production environment where hygiene and cleanliness standards are essential.
Pay & Benefits
- £12.71 per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.5x rate after 8 hours worked on any shift
- Weekly pay through Manpower
- Pay rate currently under review with an increase expected shortly
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- 40 hours per week
Working Hours
Typical working hours are: 10:00am - 6:00pm. A degree of flexibility will be required depending on operational requirements, therefore some variation to working hours may apply.
The Role
Working as part of the site services and hygiene team, you will be responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards across key areas of the facility. Duties will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining toilets and washroom facilities
- Cleaning locker rooms and welfare areas
- Maintaining cleanliness within canteen and communal areas
- Handling and management of overalls/workwear
- Waste disposal and general housekeeping duties
- Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to food production hygiene standards
- Following all health & safety and hygiene procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning, janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working within a food production environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
