Due to exceptional growth, T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a Production Operative to join their team on a Temporary on-going basis with the possibility of the position continuing to a permanent role. Job Details & Benefits

  • £18.84 per hour including shift allowance
  • 40 hour working week Sunday Thursday, 10pm-6am
  • Paid breaks
  • Overtime 1.5 paid after 40 hours & double time paid for Sunday working
  • 25 days holiday per year + bank holidays (after 12 weeks)

Responsibilities

  • Preparation, weighing and loading of ingredients
  • Following instruction sheet for processing of products
  • Packing and storing products in correct locations
  • Cleaning and maintaining a clean working environment
  • Ensuring records are updated and maintained
  • Scanning products to locations
  • Use of forklift truck counterbalance
  • Stock checking as required
  • Loading and unloading vehicles as required using FLT
  • Assisting in other departments when needed

Person Specification

  • Previous experience within a production environment is preferred
  • A valid counterbalance licence is preferred although not essential as Company offer training if permanent
  • The role involves some manual heavy lifting so you must be physically fit
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to complete paperwork
