Production Operative at a busy herb processing factory. Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate and maintain factory equipment and machinery.
- Monitor herbs through washers, spinners, and the thresher room (-20 C, appropriate clothing provided).
- Feed packaging lines, assemble and tape boxes, and ensure herbs are correctly boxed.
- Work in cold storage areas (-18 C) and assist with forklift operations (licensed drivers only).
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across factory and yard.
- Carry out factory wash down and cleaning programs.
- Weigh, pack, and palletise finished products efficiently.
- Support the team to ensure smooth and trouble-free production.
- Willingness to work in cold environments for short periods.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain high-quality standards.
- Team player with a flexible and reliable attitude.
- Forklift license is a plus but not essential for non-driving roles.
- Own transport is essential due to location.
