Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Production Operative and a Team Leader on a genuine temporary to permanent basis for their client based in Knowsley, L34. The company supplies high-quality beef and vegetarian substitutes to thousands of customers worldwide and offers excellent working conditions, real opportunities for permanent contracts, and long-term progression. We currently have two similar roles available on the 5am-1pm shift Monday to Friday.
Roles & Pay
- Debox Operative – £13.84 per hour 5am-6am, £13.14 per hour 6am-1pm.
- Debox Team Leader – quality of role: hands-on production with supervisory duties. Salary: £15.31 per hour 5am-6am, £14.61 per hour 6am-1pm.
Key Duties
- Weighing out ingredients to ensure production requirements are met.
- Recycling all waste materials including packaging.
- Complete paperwork to ensure full traceability.
- Handle weights up to 25 kilograms regularly.
- Assist in achieving daily targets and KPIs.
- Maintain a clean-as-you-go area and demonstrate GMP standards.
- Maintain high attention to detail and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience working under food hygiene or HACCP regulations.
- Experience in a food production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to standards.
- Strong manual handling skills.
