We are on the lookout for enthusiastic Assembly Operatives to join our client in Little Hulton! Job Details

  • Job Type: Temporary to permanent
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Days: Between Monday & Friday
  • Shift/Hours: Choice of 2 shifts (Mon-Thurs, 7am-3:30pm and Fri, 7am-2:15pm) OR (Mon-Wed, 7am-5pm and Thursday, 7am-4.30pm)
  • Hourly Rate: £13.04ph - optional overtime is paid at time and half on Fridays & Saturdays.

Duties

  • Assembling and building mechanical products using hand tools
  • Soldering
  • Quality checking

Requirements

  • Competent in soldering to a high standard (clean joints, consistent quality; IPC awareness desirable).
  • Able to read and accurately follow technical drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Experience completing quality documentation and production records.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures within a manufacturing environment.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), with the ability to interpret measurements and written instructions.
  • S3 Anti-static rated safety shoes must be worn.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

Shortlisted applicants will be expected to attend a practical assessment.
