Our client are looking to recruit Production/Assembly Operatives for work based out of their manufacturing and distribution site in Rochdale. The work will involve:
- Working in a production/manufacturing environment
- Operating machines, including an Edge Bander, Drilling and Nesting Machine
- Assembling cabinets
- Monitoring jobs minimising wastage and maximizing efficiency
- Attention to detail and quality checking
- General warehouse duties, packing and preparing goods for dispatch
- Manual handling and heavy lifting
Working times and pay:
- Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00
- 37.5 hours per week paid after breaks
- £12.71 p/h starting rate
- Pay increases available with progression and training
- Temp to perm opportunity.
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Assembly/Manufacturing experience essential
- Experience with Edge Banders, Drilling or Nesting Machines Preferred
- Cabinet Building experience
- Experience quality checking
- Previous experience in the Kitchen and Bedroom manufacturing industry ideal
