Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Private Sector Housing Team Manager for a Local Authority Client in West London. In this role you will lead the Private Sector Housing team to deliver enforcement, licensing, and housing standards improvements.
Duties:
- Lead and manage the Private Sector Housing team, ensuring effective delivery of enforcement and licensing services
- Oversee investigations, prosecutions, civil penalties, and rent repayment orders
- Manage team performance, budgets, and service improvement activities
- Work with councillors, partners, and stakeholders to deliver housing standards and regulatory compliance
Qualifications and Experience:
- Significant experience in Private Sector Housing within a local authority setting
- Proven track record of managing housing enforcement, including HMOs and licensing schemes
- Experience leading teams, including performance management and service delivery improvement
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation, enforcement powers, and regulatory processes
