Are you a dynamic, enthusiastic Registered Nurse looking for a new role within the Humber area? We are working with one of the UK’s leading independent providers of health and care services as they are looking to recruit Prison Cleared General Nurses to work within their primary care team based from a prison in Humber.
Within your role, you will be working within a busy team that offers gold standard care to the inmates within the prison. The role includes:
- Dealing with nurse led clinics
- Administering medication and treatments
- Emergency response
- Triage
- Wound care
- Examinations
- Referrals
You must have excellent, up to date nursing knowledge along with excellent communication skills. As a RGN within this role, you’ll be working within an experienced MDT, offering your expertise when required. They have a real interest in securing hard working, dedicated nurses who have a proven track record within general nursing roles/services.
If you have transferable skills and are looking for your first position within a prison setting, this will be considered on a case by case basis. The service is looking for enthusiastic, innovative and engaging individuals, who have a passion for the delivery of high quality patient care.
The service operates on a 7 day rota working 12 hr shifts, they can offer both part and full time work and just to clarify this is ongoing work so you will have peace of mind! Your clinical skills will need to be up to date, duties will include taking bloods, wound care, monitoring patients, taking bloods & much more.
Rates: Midweek £29.45/h, Weekends £30.33/h
Shift times/patterns: Block bookings available, Ad-Hoc shifts available, 07:30 Shift Times
