My client has recently made a new job available where they are looking for a Principal Power Electronics Engineer - Renewable Energy to join their multi-skilled R&D team based in Tyne & Wear, North East England. This company develops high performance permanent magnet electric motors and generators used in a variety of different application areas that include Rail, Energy and Power Sectors.
My client is a technology business with diverse interests in a range of industries including the rail, defence and energy sectors where it is viewed as a developer of innovative and leading edge technologies. They have a truly global footprint with facilities in nearly every developed economy and ongoing high value, high profile technology projects.
The successful candidate for the role will:
- Be degree educated in electronic engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Have had experience in the design and development of analogue electronics.
- Ideally have experience of SMPS, AC/DC, DC/DC.
- Have experience within Rail, Energy or Transport sectors.
