ARM is recruiting for an experienced Principal Pipeline Engineer to support major projects across the power generation, utilities, oil & gas, and process industries sectors. You’ll lead pipeline engineering activities across projects involving:
- Natural gas transmission
- Hydrogen infrastructure
- CO2 pipelines
- Carbon capture and wider energy transition developments
Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you’ll support projects from feasibility and FEED through to detailed design, construction and operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pipeline and AGI engineering designs and calculations
- Lead feasibility, concept, FEED and detailed design activities
- Undertake pipeline routing and high-pressure pipeline studies
- Prepare technical specifications and engineering documentation
- Support 3D model and plant layout development
- Collaborate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to bids, proposals and technical leadership activities
About You
You will ideally have:
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Chartered status (or working towards CEng/IEng)
- Experience in pipeline and AGI design
- Strong knowledge of IGEM/TD/1 and TD/13
- Experience with high-pressure gas or energy infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks and BIM360
- Strong understanding of piping codes, standards and engineering calculations
