Are you an experienced Stores Person with strong stock control, goods-in and warehouse coordination skills? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business supporting the efficient movement of materials across stores, production and dispatch operations. This hands-on stores role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation and teamwork.

You will play a key role in supporting production schedules, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently. The successful Stores Person will work closely with operations, production and dispatch teams while helping maintain high quality and health & safety standards throughout the business.

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm, Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect and record incoming goods and returns
  • Book stock into the system and store materials correctly
  • Supply production areas with materials against production orders
  • Maintain accurate stock movement and traceability records
  • Carry out monthly stock and shelf-life checks
  • Quarantine and report non-conforming materials
  • Support dispatch, packing and labelling activities
  • Operate lifting equipment safely following training
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or materials role
  • Strong stock control and goods-in experience
  • Good organisational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work accurately in a busy environment
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or production teams
  • Awareness of health & safety and manual handling procedures
  • Forklift or lifting equipment experience beneficial
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
