Ad Hoc Part-time - Primary Teachers - Portsmouth. Academics require fully qualified teachers who are looking for part‑time roles across the Portsmouth area. This is an appeal for those educators who are looking for sporadic part‑time work, for 1–2 days a week as well as full‑time work.

A typical week of bookings for us consists of many “on the day” emergency cover requests, so we need teachers who can cover these flexible slots. This is an ideal role as it focusses only on teaching – no planning, no meetings, no pressure. Plan your work around your week. We often receive prior notice even for short bookings, so you need not always be ready. Communication with our staff is key; by working closely with your consultant we match your availability to live opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Will hold QTS.
  • Have a current DBS (or be willing to apply for one).
  • Be available on a part‑time or full‑time basis, from a morning a week to full‑time.
  • Have experience of the current KS1 or KS2 curriculum.
  • Can offer flexible work available from September 2023.
