A Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial delivery of building, fit out and FM projects across Northern Ireland. Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with the Operational Team, you will manage all aspects of cost, value management and commercial performance to meet project budgets and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver commercial aspects of projects within budget and agreed timelines.
- Prepare cost plans, risk estimates, and cost reports.
- Negotiate contracts and variations with suppliers/subcontractors and client QS teams.
- Provide commercial advice and support to the project execution team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
All projects are NI‑based; no UK travel required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a construction‑related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with a main contractor.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of cost and commercial management for construction projects.
