My client based in Ponteland is looking for an experienced Assembly Operative to join an expanding team on an ongoing basis with an immediate start available. This position could become a permanent one for a suitable candidate.

Job Description
- Assemble cut‑out parts and components according to drawings, instructions, or work orders
- Inspect cut pieces for accuracy, defects, or damage before assembly
- Use hand tools, fixtures, or basic machinery to complete assembly tasks
- Ensure assembled products meet quality standards and specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Report faults, defects, or shortages to the supervisor
- Work collaboratively with team members and other departments as required
