We are hiring a Site Engineer to work on a long‑term framework for complex infrastructure projects. UK National Security Clearance is required.
The Role
As a Site Engineer, you will take ownership of engineering activities across the project, ensuring safe, efficient delivery and high quality standards. You will support and develop junior engineers, contributing to a strong engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver all site engineering duties across self‑delivery and subcontracted works
- Supervise and support engineers under your control, ensuring high standards of performance
- Educate, mentor, and develop members of the engineering team
- Contribute to and review key documentation including RAMS, Temporary Works Briefs, and ITPs
- Support weekly progress reporting and short‑term planning updates
- Raise and manage NCRs, Technical Queries (TQs), and Early Warnings
- Ensure accurate setting out, quality assurance, and compliance with project requirements
About You
- Experience working as a Site Engineer within a civil engineering environment
- Strong background in concrete structures
- Confident managing engineering outputs across both direct labour and subcontractors
- A proactive mindset with the ability to lead and mentor others
- Strong understanding of site documentation, quality processes, and planning activities
- Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering
- 5 Years' experience
- Working towards Professional Certification
- CSCS
- First Aid
