Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pipefitter with Competent Person (CP) accreditation in Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) to join a major construction project in Central London. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile site, suited to someone with a strong background in medical gas installations and healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of medical gas pipework systems in line with project specifications
  • Working to HTM 02-01 standards for MGPS installations
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within programme
  • Maintaining strict adherence to site health & safety protocols at all times

Requirements

  • Valid Competent Person (CP) accreditation in Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) in line with HTM 02-01 (essential)
  • Proven experience working within the medical gases sector (hospital or healthcare projects)
  • Strong knowledge of installation, testing and compliance procedures for MGPS
  • Previous experience on large-scale / Tier 1 construction sites (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full PPE and commitment to high H&S standards
