TeacherActive are proud to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teacher to work within a thriving secondary school environment in Stoke-on-Trent. This exciting opportunity is available on a temporary day-to-day, long-term, or permanent basis and would be ideal for both experienced PE Teachers and Early Career Teachers looking to develop their career within a supportive school setting.

We are currently working closely with a highly regarded secondary school known for its strong community values, excellent pastoral care, and commitment to both academic and sporting success. The school has a fantastic reputation for encouraging student participation in sport and physical wellbeing, making it an excellent opportunity for a PE Teacher who is passionate about inspiring young people both inside and outside the classroom.

The successful PE Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, promoting teamwork, confidence, and a positive attitude towards physical activity. The school offers excellent sports facilities and encourages PE Teachers to contribute to extracurricular clubs, fixtures, and enrichment programmes.

The successful PE Teacher will have:

  • QTS with a PE specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching PE up to KS5
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • A passion for sport, fitness, and student development
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
