School Cleaning Services Assistants – Petworth, West Sussex

Working hours:

  • Full-time (40 or 42.5 hrs per week) 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm roles available.
  • Part-time (20 hrs per week 6pm-10pm).

Generous pension contribution after 3 months.

Our client is an HMC co-educational boarding and day school that nurtures academic excellence, sporting success and creative talent. The 400-acre campus on the edge of the South Downs is an area of outstanding beauty.

They are looking for reliable and hardworking Cleaning Services Assistants to join their friendly Operations team. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all students, staff and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily cleaning duties across designated areas
  • Holiday deep cleaning with the wider team
  • Safe use of cleaning equipment and materials
  • Following health & safety and COSHH procedures
  • Occasional support for school events

What we’re looking for:

  • A positive, flexible approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential
