We are recruiting for Permanent HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to work for our client in Derby.
Responsibilities
- Your duties will include inter-depot trunking using a refrigerated double decker trailer.
- You will typically have 2 deliveries per shift but on occasion this may be only one delivery.
- There is no handball involved and you will drive a brand new Mercedes vehicle.
Pay
- Basic Hours — 17.51 per hour
- Overtime — 26.27 per hour (paid after 39 hours in any working week)
- Sunday — 35.05 per hour
- Paid Breaks — No deductions from your hours
- Holidays — paid on top of this (no rates quoted are inclusive of holiday pay)
Shift Patterns
- 5 on, 3 off Sunday-Thursday shift (average 8-10 hours per shift)
Requirements
- Held a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Category C+E/Class 1 driving licence for at least 1 year (with a maximum of 6 penalty points)
- An up-to-date Driver CPC card and training
- Excellent knowledge of Drivers' hours regulations
- Meet the shift availability requirements for this vacancy
