We are recruiting for a dedicated Chef de Partie to join a well-established country house hotel in the Lymington / New Forest area. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in a busy kitchen, while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, cleanliness, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with meal preparation to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across kitchen workstations and equipment.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Support the organisation of ingredients and stock levels to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure dishes are presented to a high standard and served at the correct temperature.
About You
- Previous experience in a Chef de Partie or similar kitchen role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen procedures.
- Good understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a pride in presentation and quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
