We are looking for a highly competent and experienced Payroll Specialist who is happy to roll their sleeves up and process multiple client payrolls, whilst also taking full responsibility for the operational oversight of our payroll bureau.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills, demonstrate strong commercial awareness, and possess a proven track record of technical payroll excellence. You will need to be forward-thinking and open to embracing new technologies and ways of working. At the same time, you must have meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of the disciplines that form the foundation of an effective payroll function.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience within payroll processing and bureau operations.
  • Strong technical payroll knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 5/6 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience using payroll software systems.
