Role Details

  • Position: Band 2 Administrative Support
  • Department: Pathology
  • Location: Hull
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00
  • Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Typing macroscopy and microscopy reports for the Cellular Pathology department
  • Providing administrative support to the wider pathology team
  • Ensuring accurate and timely data entry and document processing
  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive patient information appropriately
  • Supporting departmental workflow and general office administration duties

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous administrative or medical secretarial experience preferred
  • Excellent typing and audio transcription skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge or experience within pathology or medical terminology would be advantageous
