An established fire consultancy is seeking a technically competent Passive Fire Surveyor to join their specialist surveying team in Leeds. This role would suit an experienced Passive Fire Surveyor with strong knowledge of compartmentation, fire stopping and fire door inspections. The successful Passive Fire Surveyor will work across residential and commercial buildings, supporting clients with passive fire compliance and remedial recommendations. This Passive Fire Surveyor opportunity offers long-term progression within a growing building safety consultancy.
The Passive Fire Surveyor's Role
- Conducting compartmentation surveys
- Inspecting fire doors and passive fire protection systems
- Producing technical reports and photographic evidence
- Identifying compliance failures and remedial actions
- Working closely with contractors and housing providers
- Supporting Building Safety Act compliance projects
The Successful Passive Fire Surveyor Should Ideally Have:
- Experience undertaking passive fire inspections
- Knowledge of fire stopping and compartmentation systems
- Understanding of relevant fire safety legislation
- Strong report writing ability
- FIRAS or equivalent qualifications desirable
- Full UK driving licence
