Nelson Recruitment Services are urgently seeking a part-time Cleaner in the Wellingborough area to start immediately. This energetic position involves performing thorough cleaning tasks across various facilities to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation meet high standards.
Location: NN8 2DH
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Pattern: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
Hours: 11am-3:30pm (hours can be tweaked slightly)
Pay: £12.71 per hour / weekly pay
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize cabin areas - including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and wipe surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other essentials to ensure availability at all times.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed to promote environmental responsibility.
- Follow health and safety guidelines consistently to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition through regular checks and proper storage.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
