We are currently recruiting for a Park & Ride Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well-known site across the Sizewell C Main Development Sites. This role primarily involves regular patrols, operation of gates and barriers across a variety of site locations and ensuring that only authorised personnel are able to enter the Sizewell C sites.

Contract Information

  • Pay Rate: £15.03 per hour
  • Hours: 20 hours per week, permanent contract
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, weekly rotating schedule with alternating early morning and late afternoon shifts

Applicants must hold an SIA Licence and have a full UK Driving Licence. National Security Clearance Vetting and a 5-year verifiable work history are required for employment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mobile and foot patrols around the site fence line
  • Act as first point of contact for contractors entering Sizewell C Main Development Sites (MDS) and Off-Site Infrastructure (OSI)
  • Use the Delivery Management System (DMS) to ensure deliveries are authorised to enter specific site locations and have arrived at the correct date and/or time
  • Maintain adequate and efficient communications within the security team
  • Identify breaches and discrepancies and report using correct reporting lines and procedures
  • Conduct randomised searches
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing
  • Operate gates and barriers safely and efficiently
  • Assist bus operations during surge periods

Educational Requirements / Qualifications

  • Level 2 Award for Working as a Door Supervisor or Security Guarding within the Private Security Industry or higher (not essential but part of onboarding)
