A commercial vehicle workshop in Paisley is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor / Lead to take ownership of its growing HGV and trailer parts operation. The role has been created to improve structure, processes, and overall efficiency within the department. This is a key position focused on driving performance, reducing downtime, and supporting workshop growth.

Overview
  • Lead the day-to-day running of the HGV and trailer parts function
  • Improve ordering processes, stock control, and workshop efficiency
  • Implement systems to reduce vehicle downtime and improve workflow
  • Support fleet, retail, and rental vehicle operations
  • Work closely with workshop and management teams
  • Manage supplier relationships and procurement activity

Requirements
  • Experience as a Parts Advisor or Senior/Lead Parts role
  • Strong background in HGV, trailer, or commercial vehicle parts
  • Knowledge of workshop operations and downtime impact

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to take ownership and work independently
  • Commercial awareness and focus on efficiency and profit
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
