Job Purpose / Summary: Work as part of the paintshop team prepping and painting manufactured precision components used in earth moving equipment. Apply paint coats in accordance with the standard operating procedures and in line with customer specifications. Following instruction and working in line with the company's health and safety and best practice policies.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Painting and prepping complex components to customer specifications.
  • Deliver and be responsible for the quality of work undertaken.
  • Actively support the Paint Shop in all areas in line with business requirement.

Education & Experience:

  • Ideally 2 years plus wet painting experience.
  • Versatile and enthusiastic with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must be able to follow detailed work instructions.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Must have experience in wet paint spraying.
  • A team player who can also work on own initiative.
  • Basic numeracy & literacy.

Personal Protective Equipment: In order to perform the duties safely, the candidate will be required to abide by the Company H&S policies and procedures and use of the following PPE:

  • Overalls.
  • Safety glasses and shoes.
  • Ear protection, hand gloves and mask.

Job Type: Temp to perm.
