Are you an experienced NPORS Plant Operator with mentoring or training experience, looking to step away from the tools and move into a rewarding training position where you can pass on your knowledge and expertise? This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing specialist business in a highly autonomous role, where you will deliver industry-leading training and assessments while continuing to develop both technically and professionally.

The company are well-established specialists within Construction Equipment Training and are continuing to expand their services across an established client base. They deliver a wide range of on-site plant training courses throughout the Berkshire and Oxfordshire regions.

In this role, you will deliver both practical and theory-based training sessions on a variety of plant machinery, alongside carrying out CPCS assessments to industry standards. You will travel to customer sites and act as a key technical expert for the business.

This role would suit an experienced plant operator with NPORS or CPCS qualifications and some mentoring, coaching, or teaching experience, who is looking to progress into a highly autonomous trainer position.

The Role:
  • Deliver practical and classroom-based plant operations training
  • Train and operate machinery including excavators, dumpers, rollers and other plant equipment
  • Carry out CPCS assessments in line with industry standards
  • Support the ongoing development and improvement of training courses
The Person:
  • Level 3 qualification in Plant Operations (or equivalent)
  • CPCS and/or NPORS licences
  • Recent hands-on plant operations experience
  • Teaching or training experience, or willingness to develop into a trainer
  • Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve within 12 months)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set and will be decided by our client, the employer.
