An opportunity has arisen for a Streetworks Inspector to join a client in Oxfordshire. Your main duties include inspecting the work carried out by utility & highways contractors, reporting any issues on the highway and ensuring all works are compliant with the legislation. Further duties include section 81 inspections, customer complaints resolutions, core sampling and defect inspection.

This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £32 - £34 per hour + expenses - negotiable for the right candidate and dependant on experience. Flexible working opportunities are available.

Working within the Highways team your main duties include:

  • Carrying out NRSWA and streetworks inspections across the area
  • Reporting and recording any issues back to the office and issuing FPNs
  • Ensuring all works are compliant with the legislation
  • Monitoring the works & ensuring they are carried out to a high standard

Previous experience in Highways and Streetworks is essential for this role.
