My client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Coordinator who will act as the first point of contact within the Compounding Customer Services team for internal and external customers. The role involves delivering outstanding customer service by assisting the team with tasks such as drug order processing, reviewing and scheduling drug orders, answering customer queries, and carrying out general office activities and invoicing.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Processing customer drug orders.
  • Inputting data and updating information with high attention to detail.
  • Accurate review of data entry orders.
  • Allocating and scheduling work to the correct location.
  • Regular communication with internal departments and customers via phone and email.
  • Building internal and external relationships.
  • Booking couriers for product shipping.
  • Filing and archiving of information.
  • Stock management.

This is a 12‑month contract role based in Oxford, paying an hourly PAYE rate of £13.40. The role could be extended or made permanent, depending on individual and business performance. The working hours are either 7:00 am–3:00 pm or 8:00 am–4:00 pm; you may choose either shift but must be flexible to work 10:00 am–6:00 pm when required.

Skills:

  • Experience in a similar customer service role, dealing directly with customers on the phone, managing data entry and administrative tasks.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
