About the Opportunity
Portare Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of business change initiatives within a structured, governance-led environment. This role focuses on delivering defined outcomes and benefits, working across multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to agreed timelines, budgets, and objectives. The successful candidate will operate within a formal PMO framework and contribute to controlled, high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of projects across the full project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain project plans, tracking progress against agreed objectives
- Work with stakeholders and PMO functions to shape and control delivery
- Ensure alignment with governance processes, including approvals and decision tracking
- Prepare and present documentation within formal governance forums (e.g. Change Advisory Boards)
- Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies
- Support delivery of benefits realisation plans
- Coordinate activity across teams within a matrix environment
- Produce structured reporting and clear visual outputs throughout the lifecycle
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Recognised project management qualification
- Experience delivering projects to defined timelines and budgets
- Experience operating within formal governance or PMO environments
- Ability to produce structured reporting and project documentation (e.g. Excel / PowerPoint)
- Experience engaging with stakeholders across multiple teams or functions
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives at different stages of delivery
Desirable
- Experience working in operationally focused environments
