I have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team at a client's site in Samlesbury, Lancashire. This role requires an ability to conduct health surveillance, travel health assessments and vaccinations, case management, deliver health and wellbeing initiatives, and work with external organisations and other healthcare professionals.
You will be working within a multidisciplinary occupational health department. You will be:
- Providing health surveillance and managing escalations via the Occupational Health Technicians.
- Providing professional advice, support and guidance.
- Assessing new employees presenting to Occupational Health.
- Assessing individuals' fitness to work for the appropriate job role.
- Providing clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury.
- Attending emergency call outs.
- Completing travel health assessments and administering travel vaccinations.
We are seeking an Occupational Health Nurse with a range of skills, experience, and professional qualifications to join our team. Prior experience working as a practice nurse or in a similar OH focused role with experience in and a strong understanding of case management and health surveillance is essential. We are looking for a team player who welcomes challenges and is committed to achieving results. A curiosity to understand, learn, and develop both themselves and others is a key attribute we value in this role. Hours: This is a full time role, working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. We can offer some flexibility with working hours, between 7.30am to 5.30pm, working 7.5 hours per day. We are offering a competitive salary for this role, dependent on experience and qualifications. Professional registration (NMC) fees also paid annually.
