About the Role

As a Teacher of SEND, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a small, dynamic class of students with additional needs. These bright young minds are thriving at a Year 8 curriculum level, and while previous experience is valuable, it is not a deal‑breaker. We welcome candidates from both mainstream and SEND backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the charge in providing a holistic educational experience across a diverse range of subjects tailored to each child’s unique learning needs.
  • Develop and implement customized learning journeys that allow each student to progress at their own pace.
  • Support a smooth transition for new students, prioritising their acclimatization and confidence‑building.
  • Collaborate with a team of SEND specialist Teaching Assistants to provide unwavering support to both you and your students.
  • Foster an environment that encourages teachers to explore creative teaching styles while ensuring every student makes significant strides throughout the academic year.

Qualifications

  • QTS, PGCE, or Post‑14 qualifications.
  • Unwavering passion and dedication to making a meaningful impact on students.
  • Experience in mainstream and/or SEND settings is valued.

Contract Details

This full‑time position is available for the remainder of the academic year and includes a comprehensive handover to ensure seamless integration into our team.
