This is a bilingual nursery providing high-quality care and education for children aged 8 months to 4 years. The Nursery is seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Manager to lead our team. This is a supernumerary leadership role, focused on managing the nursery, supporting staff, and ensuring outstanding standards of care and education.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Ensure compliance with EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
- Manage, support, and develop staff through supervision and appraisals
- Build strong relationships with parents and handle queries professionally
- Oversee curriculum delivery (EYFS & Montessori approach)
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and administrative systems
- Ensure health & safety standards and risk assessments are followed
- Support occupancy targets and general nursery operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Level 3 Childcare qualification (required)
- Level 5, Level 6, BA in Early Years, or EYTS/EYPS (preferred)
- Experience as a Nursery Manager (1+ year) or Deputy Manager (3+ years)
- Strong knowledge of EYFS framework
- Experience in team leadership and staff management
- Confident working in partnership with parents
