Integrity Education Solutions are supporting a UK wide SEN group seeking an experienced SEN Science Teacher for one of their specialist provisions for children and young people with autism and associated learning differences based in Warwickshire from September 2026 on a permanent basis. The school is an independent special day school, affording children and young people the opportunity to take part in a range of activities within the local community. The spacious school environment is bright and welcoming with a variety of different learning spaces inside and outside. They specialise in providing specialist education for children aged 7-19 years with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). These include autistic spectrum condition (ASC), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

The role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and challenge children and young people.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that supports children and young people's educational and personal growth.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure student success.
  • Participate in school activities, extracurricular programs, and professional development opportunities.

Key requirements:

  • A teaching degree or equivalent and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
  • Experience of working with children with SEND and ASC is ideal but applications from those working in mainstream settings are very welcome.
  • Experience in teaching Science as a subject specialism.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.

Salary: 33,000 - 52,000 (Dependent on experience)
