The college is looking for an Electrical Installation professional to train and develop employed apprentices across both practical and technical Electrical Installation subjects. You will work with learners progressing through Level 3 standards and support them towards successful completion of their AM2 and apprenticeship qualifications.
This role would suit a Level 3 qualified Electrician who wants a career change into teaching and training. You do not need previous teaching experience as full teacher training and support will be provided. The key requirement is industry experience, strong Electrical Installation knowledge, and a genuine desire to help develop future electricians. The college is particularly interested in people who genuinely want to move into FE education and mentoring rather than simply step away from site work.

The Role
- Deliver Electrical Installation training to employed apprentices
- Teach both practical and technical Electrical Installation subjects

- Support learner progression, reviews and development
- Work Monday to Friday, based in Nuneaton
The Person
- Electrical Installation industry background
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and/or AM2
- Desire to move into teaching, training or mentoring
- Passion for developing future electricians
- Good communication and people skills
- No teaching experience required
