Your new role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take a leading role in managing the commercial function across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working with autonomy and authority, you’ll be responsible for overseeing cost management, contractual obligations, and commercial strategy across developments including:
- Apartment schemes
- Education developments
- New-build industrial units
- New-build office blocks
- Library refurbishments
You’ll operate within a flexible working model, splitting your time between the office and sites as required. You will be trusted to make senior commercial decisions, manage key stakeholders, and ensure successful financial delivery across your projects.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, ideally at senior level or ready to step up
- Strong commercial leadership and the ability to steer projects to profitable outcomes
- Experience running projects independently, from procurement through to final accounts
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, organised approach and the confidence to work autonomously within a supportive team structure
