Red Snapper is currently recruiting for an experienced Probation Officer to support the Offender Management Unit at HMP Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous prison offender management experience to support a busy custodial setting managing complex offender cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Offender management within custody
- Completion of OASys assessments
- Risk assessments and risk management planning
- Sentence planning and case management
- Parole reports
- Multi‑agency working with probation, prisons, police and MAPPA partners
- Public protection and release planning work
Essential Experience
- Qualified Probation Officer
- Previous Prison OM / POM experience
- Strong OASys and risk assessment experience
- Experience managing high‑risk or complex offenders
- Knowledge of MAPPA and offender management processes
Location HMP Nottingham, Sherwood, NG5 3AG
Working Pattern Hybrid working available. Remote working may be considered, however priority will be given to candidates able to attend site regularly.
Contract Initial 3-4 month contract with strong potential for extension.
Pay Rate PAYE: 23.14 per hour Umbrella: 30.36 per hour
