We are working exclusively with a respected, forward-thinking Building Services contractor in Nottingham who is looking to strengthen their pre-construction team with an experienced Mechanical Estimator.

The Role
As Mechanical Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the tender process, working closely with the pre-construction and delivery teams. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing detailed mechanical estimates for a range of Building Services projects
- Interpreting drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotations
- Producing competitive and technically sound cost proposals
- Supporting bid submissions and attending tender meetings where required
- Working with internal teams to ensure tenders are aligned with technical and commercial expectations
About You
We are keen to speak with Mechanical Estimators who can bring a mix of technical knowledge and commercial awareness. Ideally, you will have:
- Experience estimating mechanical packages within Building Services / M&E contracting
- Strong understanding of HVAC, public health and associated mechanical systems
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage several tenders at once
- Proficiency with Estimating software and MS Office
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
