A nationwide, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in Nottingham is now seeking a Senior CDM Principal Designer that can lead from the front, win work through their business development skills, and lead on project delivery while acting as the sole CDM Principal Designer across residential, commercial, retail, education and healthcare projects. They have several long-standing frameworks in place which allow you to build lasting relationships, supporting growth in this role. This position suits a Senior CDM Principal Designer who values work-life balance and wants exposure to large-scale projects.

The successful Senior CDM Principal Designer will be heavily involved in mitigating risk at early design stages and leading all CDM-related risks. Clear communication is required to ensure a smooth handover to the Principal Contractor.

The candidate should have at least four years of experience in a CDM Principal Designer capacity. They should have a track record of business development or be able to bring an array of clients or work with them. They must hold full membership with the APS and/or IOSH (Tech IOSH or IMaPS).
